ABOUT US

Our company, You-Protecting-U (dba Johnkel, LLC), owned by Calvin Johnson and Rodney Keller has over 25 years of business experience.  We decided to create the company, You-Protecting-U to help people learn how to shoot a firearm safely.  Our goal is to provide our students the necessary training needed to become knowledgeable, well-trained and confident in operating firearms.  This is done through our class education courses and hands-on training teaching safety, handling, using and storing firearms.

Our classroom and hands-on sessions provide the necessary firearms training to acquire your license and more importantly the fundamentals to learn how to handle and shoot a firearm in a safe manner.

We also offer Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL), Maryland Wear & Carry License (CCW) as well as Florida and Utah certifications.
